Didn't get to bed til 1:40am, then laid in bed for a couple hours pretty awake with hunger pains and with a slight dehydration headache from the night before. Today is Saturday so I do not have to play Stepmania, but on weekends I'm going to incorporate pushups and situps. I'll start with only 25 this weekend and put on 5 more each weekend. When I last did the same-ish diet routine, between each DDR song I would do 5 bicep curls with a 10 lb dumbbell on one arm, then switch. Then I'd do maybe 5 pushups, a 15 second wall-sit and some sit ups. This was all in between each song. Perhaps I will incorporate one of those each week as well.
Also tonight is a birthday party AKA a test of self control. If there's cake... I must avoid. I shall bring my own diet drink if I get a sugary urge.
I was reading something last night about how a woman lost a lot of weight by restricting calories to 1,250 a day(while also reducing fat intake and exercising) instead of my 1,300, though it's only a 50 cal difference I wonder if it makes a big impact or not.

I've always had a hard time staying motivated. In the past year I was depressed, so I'd eat to feel better and I didn't always eat right... lots of fast food cos it was quick. After watching this video of a guy doing almost the same thing I'm doing, it's inspiring. This 'diet' is more of a lifestyle change, I know once I meet my weight loss goals I cannot and will not go back to my old habits.
